Fault tracing

Calibration of position sensor in transmission control module (TCM)




- Check that the gear selector cable is adjusted correctly and readjust as necessary.
- Ignition on.
- Put gear lever in neutral (N).
Activate calibration of position sensor in transmission control module (TCM) by clicking on the VCT2000 symbol.

- Ignition off
- Wait for two minutes.
- Ignition on.
- Move the gear selector several times through all the gear positions.
- Read out diagnostic trouble codes by clicking the VCT2000 symbol.
If the current diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is still stored, replace the transmission control module (TCM).
