Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information
Condition
The transmission control module (TCM) continuously monitors the voltage and compares it with a voltage value sent out on the CAN network by the central electronic module (CEM).
If the transmission control module (TCM) registers that the power supply is too high (above 15.5V) to guarantee the function of the control module, the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) will be generated.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed while the engine is running.
Substitute value
- Auxiliary program Emergency mode 1 in the transmission control module (TCM) has started.
Hint: Emergency mode in case of malfunction Emergency Mode In Case of Malfunction
Possible source
- Battery charger with incorrect voltage has been used.
- Internal fault in transmission control module (TCM).
Fault symptom[s]
- Malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) lit.
- General warning lamp lit
