Checking Programmed Seat Values

Checking programmed seat values

Checking programmed seat values
The actual values of the seat can be read off and compared with the programmed seat position. The control module derives both the present value and the programmed value from the number of motor revolutions. The control module stores one value per motor.
Memories 1, 2 or 3 can be read off.
Select the memory you wish to compare with the present seat position
1. Memory 1
2. Memory 2
3. Memory 3.

1 - Checking programmed seat values (memory 1)

2 - Checking programmed seat values (memory 2)

3 - Checking programmed seat values (memory 3)

-------------------------------------------------

Checking programmed seat values (memory 1)
If there are no programmed positions there need not be a fault with the seat.
Read off programmed values.
Operate the seat and reprogram the memory.
Compare the current position with the programmed position for each motor.

Hint: If all the values are zero it means that the seat is already in a programmed position. When programming the program value is changed to the present value.

Does the memory function correctly?

Yes - Fault Found

No - Replacing / programming the control module

-------------------------------------------------

Checking programmed seat values (memory 2)
If there are no programmed positions there need not be a fault with the seat.
Read off programmed values.
Operate the seat and reprogram the memory.
Compare the current position with the programmed position for each motor.

Hint: If all the values are zero it means that the seat is already in a programmed position. When programming the program value is changed to the present value.

Does the memory function correctly?

Yes - Fault Found

No - Replacing / programming the control module

-------------------------------------------------

Checking programmed seat values (memory 3)
If there are no programmed positions there need not be a fault with the seat.
Read off programmed values.
Operate the seat and reprogram the memory.
Compare the current position with the programmed position for each motor.

Hint: If all the values are zero it means that the seat is already in a programmed position. When programming the program value is changed to the present value.
