Mug holder center armrest rear seat, replacing

Removal

Removing the mug holder
Remove the armrest. See: Center arm rest/integrated child seat Center Arm Rest/Integrated Child Seat.





Hint: Make a note of the position of the shaft.

Remove 1 screw.
Pull out the shaft. Remove the cover.

Hint: If the shaft is stuck, gently tap it out. Use a drift and a hammer.





Hint: Note the position of the brackets on the left and right-hand sides.

Remove:
- the screws, 1 on each side
- the brackets, 1 on each side.




Remove the Velcro seam.
Remove the upholstery.

Installation

Installing the mug holder




Install the upholstery and cushion.
Start at the front edge. Press the Velcro strip into place. See the illustration.

Install:
- the brackets on the left and right-hand sides. Use 1 x M5 screw per side. Tighten. See: Tightening torque [1][2]Body and Frame
- the cover and the shaft. Use 1 x M5 screw. Tighten. See: Tightening torque [1][2]Body and Frame
- the armrest. See: Center arm rest/integrated child seat Center Arm Rest/Integrated Child Seat.
