Connecting the breakout box
- Ignition off
- Remove fuse 11A/4 in the fusebox in the engine compartment
- Remove the rear view mirror. See Interior lighting and upper electronic module (UEM), replacing Service and Repair
- Remove the cover from the back of the rear view mirror
- Disconnect the control module connector.
Connect adapter951 1463 Adapter 22-16-14 pin 951 1463 Adapter 22-16-14 Pin to the upper electronic module (UEM) connector. Connect breakout box981 3190 Replaced by 9511428 981 3190 Replaced by 951 1428 or breakout box951 1428 Breakout box 951 1428 Breakout Box and wiring951 1499 Cable 951 1499 Cable to the adapter.
Disconnect the breakout box in reverse order.
