Fault-tracing information

Hint: This fault-tracing must only be carried out if the fault is serious. In other words if the fault message states that attention from a Volvo Workshop is required.

Yes - INFO

No - No Fault Found

- Ignition off
- Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
- Ignition on
- Activate the System test to test the DVD player. See System Test System Test.
Check if the DVD player is OK or not. If the DVD player is functioning, OK is displayed.





Is the DVD player OK?

Yes - No Fault Found

No - Replacing the component

Hint: The DVD player is integrated in the road traffic information (RTI) control module.




Try a new DVD player.
Ignition on.
Check if the DVD player is OK or not. If the DVD player is functioning, OK is displayed.
