Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information REM -6A09
Condition
The rear electronic module (REM) uses a number of relays to control the lock units in the rear doors for locking and unlocking.
The rear electronic module (REM) also activates the child-proof lock. A switch in the lock unit indicates that the child-proof lock is activated. The switch provides a ground when the lock motor is in the locked position.
A diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the Rear electronic module (REM) detects that the status of the child-proof lock in any of the rear doors changes from locked to unlocked without the control being activated.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed in ignition position I and II and when the child-proof locks are activated.
