Tail pipe




- Clean the outer end-pipe on the rear silencer's end-pipe on the left and right-hand sides.




- Take fine abrasive paper and rub down the rear edge on the existing end-pipes so that the paint adheres.

Note! Ensure that the bumper cover is protected from paint splashes.

- Wipe clean and paint with black paint, code 19, P/N 1396634/9437156.
- Allow the paint to dry.




- Take the end-pipe and clamp from the kit. Install the clamp on the end-pipe, turn as illustrated.

- Thread the end-pipe on the outer end-pipe of the silencer. Thread it on as far as possible, or no further than when the front edge is level with the front edge of the outer end-pipe.
- Turn the end-pipe so that the longest protruding section points straight up (illustration B).
- Turn the clamp so that it is aligned in accordance with illustration A in order not to make contact with the anchorage lug when the silencer moves.

- Tighten the clamp. Recommended tightening torque 20 Nm (15 lbf.ft.).
- Re-tighten the clamp to the correct torque after 5 minutes.
- Repeat steps 2 - 4 on the other side.
