Preparatory work

Ignition off




Ignition off.
Release the rear section of the headlining. See: Headlining with sun roof Service and Repair Headlining with sun roof Service and Repair.

Caution! Take extra care not to crease the headliner.

Removal

Removing the amplifier window antenna





Remove:
- the 3 connectors
- the 1 M6 screw
- the amplifier using an electrician's screwdriver. Detach at the front edge so that the clip releases.

Installation

Installing the amplifier window antenna

Install:
- the amplifier
- the 1 M6 screw
- the 3 connectors
- the rear section of the headlining. See: Headlining with sun roof Service and Repair Headlining with sun roof Service and Repair.

Caution! Take extra care not to crease the headliner.

Finishing

Function test
Test the function.
