Adjustment

Adjusting rear side window




Raise the window and check that it enters in the rubber strip.
Adjust sideways so that it runs right in the strip.
Remove the side panel in the rear seat as described in Side panel rear seat Side Panel Rear Seat.




The adjusting screws (1), move the window sideways. Three revolutions are approx. 1 mm. Tighten acc. to: Tightening torque [1][2]Body and Frame.




Adjust the side window's position, first vertically then fore-aft.
Loosen the screws (2) that hold the side window. Max. 1.5 revolution. Tighten acc. to: Tightening torque [1][2]Body and Frame.




Place a tape marking on the window 8 mm from the top edge.
Slide the window to the right position with a glass lifter: 951 2335 Window lifter 2 pieces 951 2335 Window Lifter 2 Pieces.




Check the window's position.
Install the side panel in the rear seat acc. to: Side panel rear seat Side Panel Rear Seat.
