Rear Knuckle Alignment Link: Service and Repair

Tie rod, replacing

Preparatory work
Remove:
- the wheel
- the spring.

Removal





Removing the tie rod Remove the 2 screws.

Note: Raise the wheel spindle a little so that the 2 screws are not damaged when they are removed. Use a transmission jack.

Installation
Installing tie rod
Install:





- the tie rod
- the 2 screws. Do not tighten yet.

Note: The rear suspension must be in the normal position when tightening all the joints in the rear suspension where rubber bushings are involved. See: Normal position. Tighten the screws. Tighten. See: Specifications

Note: Raise the wheel spindle a little so that the 2 screws are not damaged when they are installed. Use a transmission jack.

Finishing
Install:
- the spring.
- the wheel.
