Control Arm Lower, Replacing






Rear lower arm

Preparatory work





Remove:
- the wheel
- the spring Rear Suspension
- the 2 nuts. Use a Torx wrench as a counterhold so that the boot is not damaged
- the ball joints.

Removal

Removing the control arm





Remove:
- the screw for the wheel spindle (1)
- the screw x1 for the sub-frame (2).
Turn the anti-roll bar approximately 30° and remove the control arm.

Installation

Installing the control arm

Note! For tightening torques, see Specifications. [1][2]Specifications





Install:
- the control arm
- the 2 screws, (1) and (2). Do not tighten yet.

Note! The rear suspension must be in the normal position when tightening all the joints in the rear suspension where rubber bushings are involved. See: Normal position. Service and Repair


Tighten the screws. For tightening torques, see Specifications. [1][2]Specifications.

Finishing





Install:
- the ball joints
- the 4 nuts. Use a Torx wrench as a counterhold so that the boot is not damaged. Tighten. See: Tightening torque [1][2]Specifications
- the spring. Rear Suspension
- the wheel. Service and Repair
Perform a four wheel check. Service and Repair
