Bushing outer control arm lower

Special tools:

999 7034 Connecting rod M12X400 999 7034 Connecting Rod M12X400
999 7035 Sleeve 999 7035 Sleeve

Preparatory work

Removing the control arm
Remove the wheel.
Remove the link arm according to: Rear lower arm Control Arm Lower, Replacing.

Removal

Removing the bushing




Install the control arm as illustrated.
Install the hydraulic cylinder as illustrated.
Use: 999 7054 Adapter incl. 2x MC6C M6X12 999 7054 Adapter Incl. 2x MC6C M6X12 with: 999 7034 Connecting rod M12X400 999 7034 Connecting Rod M12X400 , socket: 999 7035 Sleeve 999 7035 Sleeve , support: 999 7139 Support 999 7139 Support and drift: 999 7140 Ring 999 7140 Ring.
Pull the bushing out.

Note! The bushing is tapered and must be pulled down as shown.

Installation

Installing the bushing




Install the hydraulic cylinder as illustrated.
Use: 999 7054 Adapter incl. 2x MC6C M6X12 999 7054 Adapter Incl. 2x MC6C M6X12 with: 999 7034 Connecting rod M12X400 999 7034 Connecting Rod M12X400 , socket: 999 7035 Sleeve 999 7035 Sleeve , support: 999 7139 Support 999 7139 Support and drift: 999 7140 Ring 999 7140 Ring.
Pull in the bushing until it is centered in the control arm.

Note! Pull in the bushing as shown.

Finishing

Installing the control arm
Install the link arm according to: Rear lower arm Control Arm Lower, Replacing.
Install the wheel acc. to: Wheels Service and Repair.
