Bushing inner control arm lower

Special tools:

Preparatory work

Remove the wheels.

Removal

Removing the control arm
Remove the control arm. See: Rear lower arm Control Arm Lower, Replacing.

Removing the bushing




Install the control arm as illustrated.
Install the hydraulic cylinder as illustrated.
Use: 999 7054 Adapter incl. 2x MC6C M6X12 999 7054 Adapter Incl. 2x MC6C M6X12 with: 999 7034 Connecting rod M12X400 999 7034 Connecting Rod M12X400 M12x400 , socket: 999 7035 Sleeve 999 7035 Sleeve , support: 999 7141 Support 999 7141 Support and drift: 999 7142 Drift 999 7142 Drift.
Pull the bushing out.

Note! The bushing is tapered and must be pulled down as shown.

Installation

Installing the bushing




Install the hydraulic cylinder as illustrated.
Use: 999 7054 Adapter incl. 2x MC6C M6X12 999 7054 Adapter Incl. 2x MC6C M6X12 with: 999 7034 Connecting rod M12X400 999 7034 Connecting Rod M12X400 M12x400 , socket: 999 7035 Sleeve 999 7035 Sleeve , support: 999 7141 Support 999 7141 Support and drift: 999 7142 Drift 999 7142 Drift.
Pull in the bushing until it is centered in the control arm.

Note! The bushing is conical and must be pulled in as illustrated.

Installing the control arm
Install the control arm. See: Rear lower arm Control Arm Lower, Replacing.

Finishing

Install the wheels. See: Wheels Service and Repair.
