Preparatory work

Disconnecting the battery lead
Disconnect the battery negative cable. See: Battery Disconnecting

Removal

Removing pulley
Remove the generator (GEN). Service and Repair




Remove the belt pulley from the rotor shaft, use tool:
999 7113 Spanner 999 7113 Spanner
999 5761 Socket 999 5761 Socket
as shown.

Installation

Installing pulley
Screw on the belt pulley and tighten it, use tool:
999 7113 Spanner 999 7113 Spanner
999 5761 Socket 999 5761 Socket

Install the generator (GEN). Service and Repair

Finishing

Installing the battery lead
Fit the battery's negative cable.

Function test
Test the function.
