Preparatory work




Switch off the ignition.
Disconnect the battery negative lead. See: Battery Disconnecting.

Removal

Removing the B-post impact sensor




Remove the side panel in the rear seat as described in Side panel rear seat Side Panel Rear Seat.
Move aside the insulation and the seat belt.

Note! Do not pull the cable harness.

Remove:
- the connector
- the 2 M6 nuts
- the impact sensor.

Installation

Installing the B-post impact sensor

Note! For tightening torques, see Specifications. [1][2]Body and Frame.

Install:
- the impact sensor
- the 2 M6 nuts
- the side panel in the rear seat as described in Side panel rear seat Side Panel Rear Seat
- the battery negative cable. See: Battery Disconnecting.
