Check the PAD Warning Lamp

Checking Occupant Weight Sensor.





If warning light airbag passenger (PAD) is on, despite conditions already being fulfilled for activation of airbag on the passenger side, the following instruction shall be followed. The instructions only apply to vehicles with the following chassis numbers.





Troubleshoot as follow:
- Read out diagnostic trouble codes related to the Occupant weight sensor (OWS) and troubleshoot according to any diagnostic trouble code information.
- Check that the pressure bulb is not trapped or restricted in any other way.
