Connecting the breakout box

Special tools:

Connecting the breakout box




- Ignition off
- Expose the multimedia module (MMM).
Connect adapter951 2882 10-pin adapter 951 2882 10-Pin Adapter to the control module connector (wiring side). Connect breakout box951 1428 Breakout box 951 1428 Breakout Box to the adapter. Multimedia module (MMM) terminals #B1-#B10 correspond to terminals #1-#10 on the breakout box. Connect adapter951 1508 Adapter 10-7-5 pin 951 1508 Adapter 10-7-5 Pin to the control module connector (wiring side). Connect breakout box951 1428 Breakout box 951 1428 Breakout Box to the adapter. Multimedia module (MMM) terminals #A1-#A5 correspond to terminals #21 - #25 on the breakout box.
The breakout box is designed to facilitate reading off the control module input and output signals when the control module is connected and cable and component resistance when the control module is disconnected. The use of a breakout box reduces the risk of accidental short-circuited cables and damage to the connector pins.

Disconnecting breakout box
In reverse order.

Note! Before the control module can be checked and readings taken, the removed fuses must first be installed.
