Timing Belt, Replacing

Timing belt

Note! Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Remove the following items:
- the auxiliaries belt
Refer to: Tensioner accessory drive belt
- right-hand engine pad.
Refer to: Engine support insulator, right

Torque: M6, 10 Nm








Special Tool: 999 5433

Installation





Torque: M8, 24 Nm

Tension the lock with pin.








Torque: M8, 24 Nm

Pull out the pin, check that the tensioner has tensioned the belt.








Torque:

- Stage 1: Oscillation damper, flange screw, 25 Nm
- Stage 2: Oscillation damper, flange screw, 60 degree








Special Tool: 999 5433

Torque: Center nut vibration damper (crankshaft), 180 Nm





Torque: M6, 10 Nm





Torque: M6, 10 Nm





Install the following items:

- right-hand engine pad.
Refer to: Engine support insulator, right
- the auxiliaries belt.
Refer to: Tensioner accessory drive belt
