Note! Some variation in the illustrations may occur, but the essential information is always correct.

Preparatory work

Caution! The central electronic module (CEM) must not be replaced at the same time. This would erase the mileage.

Caution! In order to save the mileage, put the vehicle in standby mode before removing the control module.

Standby mode
- VIDA should not be connected
- remove the ignition key
- close all doors and the trunk lid/tailgate
- lock the vehicle and wait 2 minutes
- the vehicle is now in standby mode.

Unlock the vehicle.
Adjust the steering wheel toward you and downward.

Removal

Removing the surround for the driver information module (DIM)





Remove:
- the 2 screws for the surround
- the surround.

Removing the driver information module (DIM)





Remove:
- the 2 screws
- the module. Lift up and angle out the top edge. Pull it towards you
- the connector.
Carefully lift out the module.

Caution! The transparent plastic is fragile and can be easily scratched.

Installation

Installing the driver information module (DIM)





Install:
- the connector
- the module in the rear eye
- the 2 screws.

Installing the surround for the driver information module (DIM)

Install:
- the edging
- the 2 screws.

Finishing

Set the clock
Set the clock.
