This applies to the following vehicles:
- S40 (04-), structure week 200720 - 200740.
- V50, structure week 200720 - 200740.
- C30, structure week 200637- 200750.
- C70 (06-), structure week 200549 - 200801.
The audio system, Premium Sound, may have problems with sound quality at loud volumes. To improve audio quality a new software has been developed with improved settings for equalizer, high-pass filter, and amplification.
- Update software in Infotainment control module (ICM).
- Update the software in the Audio module (AUD) if the vehicle's structure week is earlier than 200724.
