Checking the function




- Ignition on.
- Activate the buttons and check that status is updated.
If the status changes, this is an indication that the fault was present previously but is not active at the moment, i.e. an intermittent fault.

- Ignition off.
Check cables and connections for contact resistance, oxidation and open circuit.
If no fault is found, replace the control unit (keypad).
If the fault recurs, replace the control module.

- Reconnect the connectors, reinstall components etc.
- Ignition on.
- Activate the buttons and check that status is updated.
