- Ignition off.
- Replace the Subwoofer module (SUB).
- Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
- Ignition on.
Check that there is sound from the loudspeakers for the Subwoofer module (SUB).

Checking the component and wiring
- Ignition off.
- Disconnect the connector for the left-hand subwoofer behind the rear seat.
Check the cable terminals. Check for contact resistance, loose connections and oxidation.
Check the cable terminals in the female and male sections of the connector. The cable terminals must not be damaged or pressed back.
Check the signal cable between the Subwoofer module (SUB) terminal #B3 and left-hand bass speaker terminal #2. Check for an open-circuit.
Check the signal cable between the Subwoofer module (SUB) terminal #B9 and left-hand bass speaker terminal #1. Check for an open-circuit.
Check the subwoofer cable terminals #1 and #2. Check for an open-circuit.
Remedy as necessary.

Hint: Try connecting the connector for the non-functioning subwoofer to the other subwoofer.
- Ignition off.
- Connect the functioning loudspeaker connector to the non-functioning loudspeaker.
- Ignition on.
Check that there is sound from the loudspeakers for the Subwoofer module (SUB).
Is any noise produced from the connected subwoofer?
Yes - Replacing a component
No - Replacing the control module
