At start up, the multimedia module (MMM) runs an automatic memory check. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if this check indicates that the internal memory of the unit is damaged or incorrect.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the ignition is switched on.
