Faulty signal

Checking the wiring








- Ignition off
- Disconnect the connector to the Integrated Audio Module (IAM).
Check the connections with regard to contact resistance, play and oxidation.
Check the signal cables between the Integrated Audio Module (IAM) and the left-hand, rear speaker with regard to short circuits between the signal cables.
Measure between:
- Integrated Audio Module (IAM) #A2 and speaker #1.
- Integrated Audio Module (IAM) #A9 and speaker #2.
If no fault was detected, replace the speaker.
Remedy as necessary.

- Ignition off
- Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
- Ignition on
Check that the sound is heard from the speakers by testing the CD player.

Are the speakers working?

Yes - Troubleshooting procedure complete

Exit fault-tracing for this diagnostic trouble code (DTC) or make another attempt.
