Checking the wiring
- Ignition off
- Disconnect the connector to the Integrated Audio Module (IAM).
Check the connections with regard to contact resistance, play and oxidation.
Check the signal cables between the Integrated Audio Module (IAM) and the speaker in the left-hand front door with regard to short circuits between the signal cables.
Measure between:
- Integrated Audio Module (IAM) #A4 and speaker #1 in left-hand front door.
- Integrated Audio Module (IAM) #A11 and speaker #2 in left-hand front door.
If no fault was detected, replace the speaker.
Remedy as necessary.
