Signal too low

Checking the power cables




- Ignition off.
Check that the fuses are intact.
If any fuses are blown, check the circuit after the fuse for a short-circuit to ground before replacing the fuse.
Check the power supply cable. Check for an intermittent open-circuit.

Note! The control module has two voltage feeds.

Connect the breakout box with the control module connected.
Ignition on.
Measure the voltage on the wiring connector.
The voltage must be approximately 12 V.
Check the ground cable for open circuit or short-circuiting to voltage.
Also check the ground terminal. Check for loose connections and oxidation.
Remedy as necessary.
