Condition




The fuel pump is activated when starting up the heater. If the combustion preheater module (CPM) has not detected a flame after 90 seconds, the heater will try to start again. If the second start attempt also fails, the heater is deactivated and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored.
If the heater is switched off and then reactivated, the control module will try to start again.
After the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) has been detected 10 consecutive times, the heater will lock and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) will be stored.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when starting up the heater with the fuel pump activated.
