Signal Missing






Signal missing

Checking the power supply and ground terminal




- Ignition off.
Check the cable between Central electronic module (CEM) #A41 (#41) and Remote Receiver Module (RRX) #A1 for open circuit.
Check the signal cable between central electronic module (CEM) terminals #A35 (#35) and Remote Receiver Module (RRX) #A5 for an open circuit, short-circuiting to ground, and short-circuiting to voltage.
Check the cable between remote control receiver (RRX) terminal #A3 and ground. Check for an open-circuit. Also check the ground terminal for oxidation.
Remedy the cables as necessary.

- Ignition off.
Check if the communication with remote receiver (RRX) works by locking and unlocking the vehicle with the remote control's buttons.

Is the function OK?

Yes - Verification

No - Replacing the control module

- Ignition off.
If no fault is discovered on the cables for the remote control receiver (RRX), the unit will probably need to be replaced.

- Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
Check if the communication with remote receiver (RRX) works by locking and unlocking the car with the remote control's buttons.
