Replacing a component
The central electronic module (CEM) has registered an internal fault.
If the fault is intermittent, it has been registered previously but is no longer present. Intermittent faults can be caused by interference at start up of the central electronic module (CEM) or may be a different type of fault which occurs on different occasions. The fault is evaluated depending on how it occurs. If the fault recurs, replace the control module.
Replace the central electronic module (CEM) if the fault is permanent.

Note! The relay is also found in vehicles that are not equipped with a rear washer motor. If this is the case, there is no fault system, and no corrective action is needed.
