Checking the status
- Ignition on.
Activate the fog lamp.
Deactivate the fog lamp.
Check if the fault is permanent or intermittent.
The fog lamp relay clicks when it is deactivated.
If the fog lamp is not deactivated, the fault is permanent.
If the fog lamp is deactivated, this is an indication that the fault was present previously but that it is not active at the moment, i.e. the fault is intermittent.

- Ignition off.
Check that relay 2/34 is correctly installed.
Also check the relay terminal, in particular 2/34 terminal #2. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.
Remedy as necessary.

- Ignition off
- Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
- Ignition on.
Click the VCT2000 symbol to activate and deactivate the relay.
A click should be heard from the relay.
Check that the function is OK.
