Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information CEM-6C46
Condition
The steering column lock is checked by the steering column lock module (SCL). The steering column lock module (SCL) receives a command from the central electronic module (CEM) when the steering column lock is to be locked or unlocked.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the central electronic module (CEM) receives a status message from the steering column lock module (SCL) that the steering column lock is already unlocked when an unlocking sequence is to start.
Note! This diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is primarily used during development and has little or no information value during fault-tracing. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is also always stored together with other diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) for the steering column lock module (SCL). Carry out fault-tracing for other diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) for the steering column lock module (SCL).
