Internal fault

Check the internal battery in the Siren control module (SCM)
If the internal battery in the Siren control module (SCM) has too low voltage after, e.g., the vehicle, has been stationary for a long time or after the control module has been replaced, this may make it impossible to erase the trouble code.
Carry out the following:
Check the the vehicle's battery is charged correctly. Charge the battery if necessary.
Close all vehicle doors.
Lock the vehicle using the remote control.
Lock the vehicle using the remote control.
Erase the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) and read out again.
Remedy as necessary.

Replacing a component
Siren (SCM) has registered an internal error.
If the fault is intermittent, it has been registered previously but is no longer present. Intermittent faults may be due to interference at start up of the Siren control module (SCM) or may be a different type of fault that occurs on different occasions. The fault is evaluated depending on how it occurs. If the fault recurs, replace the Siren control module (SCM).
Replace the siren control module (SCM) in the event of a permanent fault.
Remedy as necessary.
