- Ignition off.
Check central electronic module (CEM) connector terminal F and the seat belt buckle connector. Check for contact resistance. Check for oxidation. Check for damage. Check for loose connections. Also check the intermediate connector.
Check the signal cable. Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to ground.
Take readings between:
- Central electronic module (CEM) terminal #F3 (#3) and right rear seat belt buckle, connector terminal #2.
Remedy as necessary.

- Ignition on.
Activate reading off the status. Click the VCT2000 symbol.
Activate and deactivate the function.
Check that the function is OK.
