Condition




The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if there is a short-circuit to ground in the battery temperature sensor circuit. The central electronic module (CEM) interprets this as a fault.
Diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) can be diagnosed with the ignition in positions I or II.

Substitute value
- The battery temperature is +55° C.

Possible source
- Short-circuit to ground in the signal cable
- Damaged battery temperature sensor.

Fault symptom[s]
- The battery discharges.
