Checking the signal




- Ignition on.
Activate reading off the voltage level from the Central electronic module (CEM) by clicking the VCT2000 symbol.
If the signal from the Central electronic module (CEM) is greater than 6 V, there is a short-circuit to voltage.
If the signal from the Central electronic module (CEM) is less than 6 V, this is an indication that the fault was present previously but that it is not active at the moment, i.e. the fault is intermittent.

Checking the wiring
Check the signal cable between Central electronic module (CEM) terminal #G21 (#21) and clutch pedal position sensor connector terminal #2. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.
Check the signal cable between Central electronic module (CEM) terminal #G22 (#22) and accelerator pedal position sensor connector terminal #1. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.
Remedy as necessary.

- Ignition off
- Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
- Ignition on.
Activate reading off the voltage level from the Central electronic module (CEM) by clicking the VCT2000 symbol.
The value must be approximately 5 V.
