Condition







The diagnostic trouble code is generated if the engine control module (ECM) registers that the EVAP valve signal cable is short-circuited to supply voltage.

The diagnostic trouble code can be diagnosed when the ignition is on.

Substitute Value
- Fuel trim blocked.

Possible Source
- Contact resistance in the connectors.
- The signal cable is short-circuited to voltage.
- Damaged EVAP valve.

Fault Symptom[s]
- Malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) lit.
- Fuel odor.
