Checking The Status







- Start the engine.

Check whether the fault is permanent or intermittent. Read off the fuel temperature sensor signal. Check that the value is within its permitted range.

HINT: The signal is measured in the delivery line of the injectors and the signal is therefore affected by the engine temperature.

The fault is permanent if the value is not within its permitted range. If the value is within its permitted range, the fault is intermittent and not presently active.
