Bushing inner control arm upper, replace

Special tools:

Preparatory work

Remove the rear wheels.

Removing the upper control arm

Note! Remove the upper control arm. See Control arm upper, replacing Control Arm Upper, Replacing.

Removal

Removing the bushing





Note! Mark up the position of the bushing before removing.

Install the hydraulic cylinder as illustrated.
Use999 7054 Adapter incl. 2x MC6C M6X12 999 7054 Adapter Incl. 2x MC6C M6X12 with999 7049 Sleeve 999 7049 Sleeve , connecting rod999 7037 Connecting rod M14X400 999 7037 Connecting Rod M14X400 and999 7036 Drift 999 7036 Drift on the other side of the bushing.
Pull the bushing out

Installation

Installing the bushing





Note! Install the bushing according to the previous markings.

Hint: Lubricate the bushing. Use soap solution so that the bushing slides through the sub-frame more easily.

Install the new bushing. Pull the bushing through the sub-frame as illustrated.
Install the hydraulic cylinder as illustrated
Use999 7054 Adapter incl. 2x MC6C M6X12 999 7054 Adapter Incl. 2x MC6C M6X12 with999 7049 Sleeve 999 7049 Sleeve , connecting rod999 7037 Connecting rod M14X400 999 7037 Connecting Rod M14X400 , cone999 7038 Drift 999 7038 Drift , drift999 7036 Drift 999 7036 Drift on the other side of the bushing.

Installing the lower outer control arm mounting
Install the control arm. See: Control arm upper, replacing Control Arm Upper, Replacing.

Finishing

Install the rear wheels. See Installing wheels Service and Repair.
