Engine pad right, replacing

Preparation
Remove:
- the splash guard under the engine
- the right front wheel.
Position a mobile jack with a universal plate999 5972 FIXTURE 999 5972 Fixture under the oil pan on the right side of the engine.
Check that the plate does not catch in the sub-frame.
Carefully lift to relive the load from the engine pad.
Detaching the fender liner
Slacken off the right lower front part of the fender liner.
Remove:
- the plastic nuts on the fender liner
- the protective plate.
Bend out the fender liner.
Removing the vibration damper
Applies only to 6 cylinder engines:
Remove the four vibration damper screws. Counterhold the crankshaft central nut.
Remove the vibration damper.
Removing the right-hand engine mounting
Remove:
- both the screws (A)
- both the screws (B)
- the engine pad.
Tightening torque
For tightening torques, see Specifications, B6324S Tightening Torque.
Installing the right-hand engine mounting
Install:
- the engine pad
- both the screws (A) loosely
- both the screws (B).
Tighten the screws.

Remove the mobile jack.
Installing the vibration damper
Applies only to 6 cylinder engines:
Install:
- the vibration damper
- the four screws. Counterhold the crankshaft central nut.

Installing the fender liner
Install:
- the fender liner
- the protective plate
- the plastic nuts on the fender liner.
Finishing
Install:
- the splash guard under the engine
- the right front wheel. See Installing wheels Service and Repair.
