DESCRIPTION:





Customers may complain about the appearance of the carpet at the front door sill, where the carpet edge may become visible.





MATERIALS

SERVICE:





Remove the sill molding and secure the carpet with cable ties as described below.

NOTE:
This adjustment should be completed on both front carpets.





After drilling two 3/16th of an inch (5 mm) holes in the bracket be sure to remove all shavings.

Paint the exposed metal edges.





Note the location of the holes in the carpet is 3/16th of an inch (5 mm) from the edge as shown.

NOTE:
A pick would be a preferred tool for making the holes in the carpet.





Reinstall the sill molding.
