AUX service cable

Removal

Note! Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.




Remove
- the edging (1)
- pen compartment/(handset) (2)
- screws, 6 pcs. (3)
- the top of the tunnel compartment (4)
- connector for the AUX-outlet




Secure the existing (AUX) cable.
Use: Strip clamp, 983747




Lift forward the console. Refer to: MiniDisc / CD control module, replacing Service and Repair




Install the service cable in the AUX-outlet and route the cable on the right side of the gear selector.

Caution! Route the cable as far from the GSM-module as possible.

Caution! Make sure that the cable is not trapped or damaged.








Remove the existing terminals in outlet 7, 9, and 14 in the control module (AUM).

Install the service cable according to markings on the terminals.




Secure the existing cable
Use: Strip clamp, 983747

Secure the cable on the cable harness.
Use: Cable harness, 30786841

Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
