Condition




The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) checks the signal from the driver airbag, stage 3.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module registers that the resistance in the ignition cable is too high for longer than 10 seconds.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed in ignition positions I, II and III.

Substitute value
- None.

Possible source
- Open-circuit or contact resistance in the SRS ignition cable or in the connectors between the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) and the driver's airbag, stage 3
- Open-circuit in the driver's airbag stage 3 (resistance too high in the igniter).

Fault symptom[s]
- The SRS indicator lamp is lit.
