Condition




The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) checks the signal from the driver airbag, stage 3.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module registers that the capacitance in the ignition cable is too high for longer than 10 seconds.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed in ignition positions I, II and III.

Substitute value
- None.

Possible source
- The capacitance is too high or there is a short-circuit in the integrated capacitor in the connector for the SRS ignition cable.

Fault symptom[s]
- The SRS indicator lamp is lit.
