Condition




The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) checks the signal from the driver airbag, stage 3.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module registers that the voltage in the ignition cable is too high for longer than 10 seconds.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed in ignition positions I, II and III.

- None.

Possible source
- Short-circuit to supply voltage in the SRS ignition cable or in the connectors between the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) and the driver's airbag, stage 3
- Short-circuit to supply voltage in the driver's airbag
- Short-circuit to supply voltage in the contact reel.

Fault symptom[s]
- The SRS indicator lamp is lit.
