Condition




The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) checks the signal from the passenger airbag, stage 3.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module registers that the resistance in the ignition cable is below 10 ohms for longer than 10 seconds.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can only be diagnosed when the ignition is switched on (12 V). In other words, the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can only be diagnosed when the ignition is switched from position 0 to positions I, II or III.

Possible source
- If the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) identifies that a passenger airbag stage 3 is installed, despite the control module being programmed that it should not be installed.

- The SRS indicator lamp is lit.
