Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) AUD-0012 is stored if the audio module (AUD) registers that the signal to the buttons for headset output 1 is too low.
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) AUD-0012 can be diagnosed when the ignition is on.

- None.

Possible source
- Short-circuit to ground in the signal cable between headset output 1 and the control module
- Short-circuit between the signal cables to headset output 1
- Short-circuit in the headset panel (defective headset panel).
