TMC Receiver, Signal Missing
TMC receiver, signal missing
Fault-tracing information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ATM-0003 is stored if the car does not detect a TMC receiver even though the car is configured for one.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is also stored if there are communication problems between the antenna module (ATM) and the TMC receiver.
If the fault is intermittent, it has been registered previously but is no longer present. Intermittent faults can be caused by interference at start up of the antenna module (ATM) or may be a different type of fault which occurs on different occasions. The fault is evaluated depending on how it occurs. If the fault recurs, replace the TMC receiver.
If the fault is permanent, check that a TMC receiver is installed. Install a TMC receiver if there isn't one. In other cases replace the TMC receiver.
Remedy as necessary.
Other information:
- To replace the TMC receiver, see Receiver GPS, TMC (ATM), replace Service and Repair.
