Rear Door Window Motor: Service and Repair

Electric motor, power window lift, rear side door, replacing

Remove:
- the power window mechanism. See Window lift mechanism rear side door, replacing Service and Repair
- one screw holding the motor.




Disconnect the slide:
Press the snap fasteners.
Turn the slide 90 degrees.
Unhook the cables and tensioner springs.
Disconnect the cables at the bobbin.

Install:
In reverse order.

Note! The cable, closest to the motor, should be rolled up three turns. The next cable should be rolled up one turn.
