Replacing the power sun blind, the end piece and control module

Removal

Common removal

Remove
- the two seat cushions. Pull straight up
- the left side cushion.





Remove
- the connector for the sun blind at the left backrest.
Head restraints with automatic adjustment
Fold the head restraints down by pressing the button at the center console.





In the cargo compartment
- Remove the protective cover from the handle for the backrest lock
- Pull the handle to release the backrest
- Carefully press the handle forward 5-6 centimeters. Do not damage the center console.

Head restraint with fixed installation

Remove
- the backrest according to Replacing backrests .





Remove
- the two screws under the parcel shelf
- the parcel shelf according to Parcel shelf Parcel Shelf, Replacing.

Removing the power sun blind

Remove
- the five holders.
Thread out the mechanism with the sun blind through the opening in the parcel shelf.

Removing the end piece

Remove
- the screw. Pull the end piece off the sun blind straight out to the side.

Removing the control module

Remove
- the connector
- the screw
- the control module.

Installation

Installation

Install
- In reverse order.
Tighten the two screws for the parcel shelf to 10 Nm.

Other information
- Install the new control module. Use a screw and double-sided adhesive tape.
